My Fall Color Scheme
If you've known me for longer than half a second, you know I love neutrals. Yes, even in fall. And, if you've been following along for a while, you know I've recently fallen in love with all things blue. So, this year, I thought I'd use a neutral color scheme with blue, greens, and whites to decorate for fall. It's definitely non-traditional, but I love how calming it makes every space feel. Plus, it makes transitioning from summer to fall super easy.
I like to keep things simple, and my fall entryway is no exception. An upholstered bench topped with pillows and a cozy blanket provides a welcoming entry. Stacked firewood underneath the bench adds some texture, while eucalyptus wrapped around faux white pumpkins tucked inside an olive bucket brings in a natural element to the space.
In the kitchen, I added more subtle fall touches: wheat branches tucked inside a white pitcher, white pumpkins, cotton stems, and an adorable "Grateful" sign from one of my favorite makers. I love how the white and blue kitchen towel brings in touches of farmhouse charm, and ties in perfectly with my blue, green, and white color scheme.
Here's a little sneak peek of my tablescape. For all the details, check out the full blog post here. I kept it very simple this year with greenery, candles, white pumpkins, and chambray blue napkins. A wooden pedestal brings in some warmth and natural elements. I purchased the eucalyptus branches from Trader Joes for only $3/bunch. You just can't beat that!
In the living room, subtle touches of fall can be seen in white pumpkins, greenery, cozy pillows, and blankets. Seriously, give me all the white pumpkins.
So I can put them everywhere in my house!
My fall style can pretty much be described as White. Pumpkins. Everywhere. This fall, I also added that adorable grain-sack "Pumpkin Spice" pillow by Farmhouse on Boone. Love it!
Y'all. This is my favorite spot in the house. This chair and ottoman. So comfy. You can find me in this spot pretty much any time I'm home, curled up with a comfy blanket and Pinterest or Instagram. If you want to know more about this chair and ottoman, I did a review of it [here.] To cozy this space up for fall, I added a eucalyptus branch in a white pitcher, some wooden beads (a super easy DIY I hope to share with you soon!), a white pumpkin (of course), and a cozy blanket and pillows. Neutral. Easy. Fall. Now forgive me while I post one million pics of my favorite space.
Neutral Fall Mantel
I'm going to be sharing all about my neutral fall mantel in an upcoming post, but for now, here's a sneak peek. I used things I already had on hand like candles, books, greenery, and of course--white pumpkins.
