Since Thanksgiving has officially passed, we can all be full-on Christmas now, right?? I've managed to get my Christmas living room decor almost complete for the holidays, and although there's still some things left to do, I could not wait to share this room with you guys!
I'm sharing this room as part of a Christmas Blog Hop with some super talented friends. If you are visiting from my friend Lindsey at Revive and Design, welcome! I am so glad you are here!!

First off, can we just talk about this tree? This year, we got a new tree from King of Christmas, and I couldn't be more excited about it. We have 9 foot ceilings in this room, and chose the 7.5 foot King flocked tree. I think it fits the space perfectly and I'm in love! Can you believe I've never had a flocked tree until this year? It was about time. I plan to share all my thoughts about this tree in an upcoming post, so stay tuned! The media center to the left is chalk painted with Southern Honey Texas chalk paint in Jackson.
We kept our color scheme the same this year as last--white, gold, and silver. And I gotta say I'm loving the way the neutrals look against the white lights and flocking of this tree.
I love the winter wonderland-y feel the neutral shimmery ornaments give!

The mantel isn't quite complete yet. I still need to hang the stockings and add fresh garland. But, I'm loving the way it's coming together!! I added this new scroll to the decor this year by Cottonwood Shanty, and I could not be more in love with it! Highly recommend!!!
I framed out the scroll with bottle brush trees and other trees I picked up from Target over the years. And I filled the empty space beneath the scroll with all the candles I could find. It really gives the space such a cozy feel! I tucked a few olive branches at the bottom of the scroll, but I'm not sure they're going to stay once the garland goes up. We'll see.

I moved my chair to the right of the fireplace to make room for the Christmas Tree. I dressed it up with a simple deer pillow, and I'm loving the subtle hint of Christmas this space gives. This chair is the Ikea Farlov Chair, btw, and I love it. See my full review of the chair here.

As you move around the room, things get decidedly less winter-wonderlandy and much more farmhousey. It's almost as if these spaces aren't even in the same room. But I have always been torn between my love for all things farmhouse and all things glitz and glam, and I think this living room definitely shows that identity crisis! It's ok, though. You do you! Do what you love, and don't worry about anyone else!
Hope you guys have enjoyed my little Christmas living room tour!
